The Look | New York Fashion Week: Men's, Day 4

Photography by, Victor Jolley

My New York Fashion Week: Men's, Day 4 ensemble was inspired by the color scheme of Perry Ellis's new fragrance, "Citron". For most of you who do not know, the invitation to Perry Ellis's Spring/Summer 2016 runway show was my first invite to the first ever New York Fashion Week:Men's; then came the others. Being that I am a very huge supporter of the brand, I thought it would only be appropriate to show my P.E pride on the day they were showing.

Originally, I decided on a blue dress shirt underneath the blazer but due to the fact I had already sported similar looks earlier that week, I thought it would be fun to try a polo. After all, it was something I had never done before. Also, it was the last day. Why not relax a bit? The greens, the blues, and the yellows. This concept gave me an opportunity to capture a playful essence while also pushing my personal style boundaries with the amount of detail on the checked blazer and my shoes.
