The Ritzy Holiday Blazer You Need In Your Closet

If it looks like I'm on my way to a disco party, I have done a great job selecting this look because the aura is what holiday parties should be - really. High energy, visually stimulating outfits, and a good time - I am in the zone.
Of all the holidays I use as an excuse to try new looks, the Christmas/New Year season trumps all. During an event where classic black and white ensembles and "ugly" Christmas sweaters are expected, an exuberant piece like the Barney Blazer (as seen in the the photos above) makes for a refreshing take on holiday wear. It's showy which is a bit unusual for my sense of style, yes but it's also very playful and celebratory.
Besides, everyone should appreciate a good use of great detail.
In addition to the creative take on the look, trading in a shirt and tie for a turtleneck is very Tom Ford these days so with the choice, there is a guaranteed sense of timeless refinement and elegance that goes with the look.
It is important to note that opting for a color tone that doesn't distract from or clash with the blazer is one key for minimalist menswear enthusiasts like me to feel comfortable with such a glitzy look.
