My Pick: The Dylan Plain-Toe Blucher Shoe by Jack Erwin

Shoes are the linch pins that hold an outfit together. They are an elemental part of our everyday lives, so, it is only right to have the right essential footwear for every occasion. The definition of "Essential shoes" is subjective, but I also believe the idea caters to convenience in the variety of one’s day to day activities.
With that being said, it is hard to challenge a flawlessly unblemished, and well worn dress shoe. Take the Dylan Plain-Toe Blucher, for example.
Handcrafted in Spain, The Dylan Plain-Toe Blucher is a simplistic shoe. In black, the shoe allows for adaptability as it pertains to mixing, and matching different genres of clothing. This way, the shoes are able to bounce back and forth between formal, and casual looks. From full suits, to a white tee shirt, and black jeans.
Featured on the shoe is the full-grain calfskin that forms the shoe’s upper, an augmented stacked heel, a hand stitched leather outsole, and a fully leather lined, padded insole. All of these details aid to the creation of a very minimalistic, strong, neat, polished, and suave look for the shoe.
In terms of fit, and sizing, I wholeheartedly approve. The Charlie Penny Loafer was my first pair of shoes from Jack Erwin, and just like them, the Dylan Plain-Toe Bluchers fit perfectly in my exact size.
