When it comes to relaxed style, many men and women including myself instinctively refer to a pair of jeans, a shirt, and a pair of sneakers. It's fair because when done properly, the combination has the ability to impress but not inundate which is the whole idea of being casual anyway.
Playing to the versatility the concept of a casual look can allow, listed are the makings of an elevated ensemble that is sure to make you look as pulled together as you can be - casually.
An Unconstructed Blazer or Jacket:
Adding an unconstructed jacket or blazer to a casual look instantly gives the entire ensemble an upgrade. Both items serve as great articles of style for fall days when all you need is an extra layer. Colors like navy, grey and brown, and black allow for wardrobe versatility.
An Oxford Shirt:
When worn with an open collar, oxford shirts tone down formality for a more laid back and relaxed feel.
A Pair of Denim:
Jeans are the starting point of most casual looks. They're a necessity.
A Pair of Chelsea Boots:
Boots are a wardrobe essential. Everyone needs a pair and without a doubt, Chelsea boots are the perfect ones to set you apart. The boots put the finishing touch on an outfit highlighting detailed attention to style and not only are they casual, they can also be dressed up with suits.
