Getting the opportunity to dress up for any event is something I look forward to. When it comes to personal style, nothing quite fulfills me like the idea of being excited to be adorned in attire that makes me feel high-class and sophisticated.

In the last few years, I have been able to really hone in on what I enjoy in my personal style palette, and tuxedos remain one of them. I was reminded of this last week when I was surfing the internet for new tuxedo options, and came across this Capstone Italian Wool Tuxedo from Bonobos.

When shopping for tuxedos, I am immediately drawn towards options that possess an element of luxuriousness and comfort in its design, and presentation. The Satin Peak Lapel against the Navy Dot fabric of the jacket had me sold. In receiving the two separates, I was especially thrilled by its snug, and soft fit. More brands seem to be taking note of important men’s style essentials - “fit” being one of them, and Bonobos got it right. The jacket was cenched in right around my waist like I like, and the waist of trousers were a good fix.

For styling, I knew I would not have to overdo any techniques. The soft simplicity of the tuxedo jacket prompted for supporting clothing just as nominal, and the white shirt/bowtie combo was the right idea. Yes, very simple but also very sleek, and chic like it would have been with a satin tie pairing. I prefer a straight forward sense of style, and this choice aligned accordingly with the blacks and blues featured on the tuxedo jacket.
