In New York City, Smith & Wollensky is the quintessential venue for satisfying one's conception of what it means to dine at an enjoyable restaurant.
While the establishment is popularly known for its highly pleasant steak offerings, the other assortments presented are pleasantly clean, and fresh - ranging from seafood to garden fresh vegetables. The Shrimp Cocktail is a popular appetizer and a personal favorite of mine at the restaurant. Another highly favored dish of choice as flavorsome as it sounds, is the classic Smith & Wollensky Lemon Pepper Chicken. Simple, yet well flavored. It's easy to call out a good chicken meal when you do not require any sauces to make it taste better.
The character of the restaurant is set to exude a classic, polished, and graceful appearance - physically, and in its aura. It is highly sophisticated yet homely, and relaxed as its furnishings underline the combination of refined, and more contemporary details in its arrangement making for a great first impression no matter the context.
Smith & Wollensky offers more than a traditional steakhouse experience. Reservations are uncomplicated and both the service and food are extremely good.
