Some people look out of their windows on rainy days and believe that an umbrella is the only tool they need to be shielded from the wet weather. They put on a nice, clean, and somewhat comfortable look featuring their warmest coat/jacket and a pair of leather boots to avoid ruining their more polished shoes. If you're one of these people, I can relate.

I enjoy watching raindrops fall against my windowpane when I am indoors, and do not have to leave the comfort of my home. When I have to go out, it's a drag - for my mood and of course, my personal style.

My personal style because I always come to the realization that I'm going to need more than just a pair of leather boots and my warmest coat/jacket to get through the excruciating wetness the rainfall can bring on. These realizations sting even more because shopping for rain gear is not at the top of my list or the majority if I'm not mistaken. For one, They're not the most exciting things to shop for and they can be quite expensive. However, it does not take away from the fact that rainproof gear is necessary for everyday life. The investment is worth it.

A rain coat is a high priority item that is sure to safeguard you and your belongings from all the wetness. This is the main article of clothing that will protect your inner look from getting wet. Keep it spick and span, timeless and modern - like the one in the photos above.

When it comes to style and color selection, I say color tones are subjective to your personality. Automatically, it adds character. Go for something that you believe will go with everything. You want something you don't have to spend money on over and over again.
