SALVATORE Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer 21 collection marks a reinterpretation of style codes in a more imaginative and histrionic way.
It’s the season to begin shopping for the clothing items that will help us transition into spring so seamlessly. If you’ve been following men’s fashion collections in the past year, you know that there’s a lot to look forward to; like collectors items and advanced essentials.
Salvatore Ferragamo is one of the many fashion brands that has presented us with Spring/Summer magnificence. From deer leather details on raincoats to Norwegian knit stitching, Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer 21 collection marks a reinterpretation of style codes in a more imaginative and histrionic way.
It all feels very heritage and aligned with special pieces for the fashion enthusiast who is interested in extending past the essentials. So, without further ado, these are three of my favorite READY TO WEAR pieces from the entire collection:
In the last year, I’ve noticed an overwhelming liking towards more loungy silhouettes reflective of the world shifting towards a more casual day to day culture. What draws me to this sweater is its relaxed and soft fit. The zigzag motif adds on a voluminous yet subtle detail conducive for different genres of styling.
Made with 100% Gabardine, the wide and soft character of the flat front pant is comparable to the essence of a pyjama bottom. It’s very comfortable in texture and combines tailoring details with casual lines.
Its stitching and raw cut in addition to the monochrome buckle makes for a more contemporary style than we’ve seen in the past. It feels informal yet sophisticated and occasional. We all enjoy a relaxed shoe that is easy to put on and endure throughout the day no matter the event. If you’re looking for a shoe that is a bit more casual than the traditional loafer, the craftsmanship on Ferragamo’s Driver in black is pristine and essential.
If you’re someone who likes to own pieces that feel a bit more artistic and spontaneous, this overcoat should be considered because of its creativity and originality. No doubt, the drawstring construction is very alluring for fitting purposes but it is the contrasting motif of Tuscan hills and wildflowers that make this piece a collector’s item.
